At 20:31 on Saturday, 2 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a mechanical fault
