At 17:39 on Sunday, 15 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera
