At 22:48 on Sunday, 14 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

Horse assisted to feet by crews using strops and hi-ab off Rescue Tender.
