One horse down in stable, lifted to feet using medical strops.

This incident involved a 28 year old male horse that was cast in the stable. Fire service personnel assisted it to it's feet using lines and ties.

This incident relates to a cow that had been trapped in the canal overnight. Water first responders used halters and lines to walk/swim the cow downstream to an embankment for her to safely exit the canal.

1 car and horse box involved in RTC. Horse being treated by Vet and specialist animal rescue team from Wellington. Efforts being made to transfer horse into another trailer and then crews making vehicle safe.

Crews assisted with the rescue of a calf which had become impaled on railings, using lifting gear from the rescue tender and assistance from the farmer with farm machinery.
