At 01:10 on Friday, 19 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Alveley.

4 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving 1 barn, 20 x 30m, containing approximately 500t of straw. Three hose reel jets in use. Hereford and Worcester Fire Service also assisted with incident.
