At 0808 on Thursday, 8 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Nesscliffe .

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Baschurch and Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

Deep seated fire in woodland area. Pinzgauer 4 x 4 off road vehicle mobilised for access as access to the incident is difficult.
