At 11:30 on Saturday, 17 December, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving unattended cooking in ground floor kitchen of domestic residential property. The fire was found to be out upon the arrival of the Fire Service, who ventilated the property.
