At 18:45 on Saturday, 21 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bin Fire in Ruyton XI Towns.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Dry powder extinguisher

3 wheelie bins completely destroyed by fire, 1 electric cable also involved in fire.
