At 07:18 on Friday, 27 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire.
4 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Fire involving small quantity of cut logs inside log store, one hose reel jet and drag hooks in use, logs being removed to outside of building. Area checked with the thermal imaging camera.
