At 17:49 on Wednesday, 1 March, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire in approximately 70 Tonnes of manure in field 1 hose reel jet and mechanical digger were used to extinguish
