At 14:05 on Tuesday, 18 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Pentre.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Baschurch and Oswestry.

Fire involving approx. 250m of grass, hedgerow and 2 trees - 2 hose reel jets and thermal image camera in use
