At 18:34 on Tuesday, 18 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Minsterley.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Approx 20 x 30 mtrs hedgerow, grass and undergrowth alight, 3 hose reel jets and high pressure hose in use
