At 08:03 on Tuesday, 17 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Fire involving an area of undergrowth and trees approximately 200m x 50m square. Beaters and knapsacks in use.
