At 22:24 on Friday, 22 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Baschurch.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

Paper recycling skip and contents involved in fire. Drag hooks in use to drag out contents and damp down using 1 hose reel jet.
