At 22:30 on Friday, 5 January, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Baschurch.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Chimney fire in a property with an open fire, extinguished using stirrup pump, chimney rods and buckets of water, thermal imaging camera also in use.
