At 05:49 on Saturday, 21 April, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford.

This was a false alarm caused by a smell of burning from the engine. The battery was isolated as a precaution and advice given to contact vehicle recovery
