At 16:50 on Sunday, 15 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Smoke alarm operating in domestic property. On arrival there was a strong smell of burning so the crew forced entry into flat using breaking in kit. 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus in use to extinguish fire.
