At 15:56 on Tuesday, 7 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

Fire involving 10m x 15m of grass and undergrowth, 2 hose reel jets in use to extinguish the fire.
