At 23:05 on Monday, 4 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tree Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Fire involving out of control bonfire that spread to 5 metres of hedgerow and 2 rotten trees. The fire was dealt with by crews using a hose reel jet and small tools.
