At 11:25 on Friday, 22 January, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Telford.

1 fire appliance including the Water Rescue Unit was mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Short extension ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Two adults and a french bulldog, called Teddy, were safely rescued from the first floor of flooded property using a boat, rope rescue equipment, and one short extension ladder.
