At 06:43 on Monday, 16 August, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Howle, Newport.

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Craven Arms and Newport.

Fire involving approximately 30 bales in open sided barn. 2 hose reel jets and 1 main jet used to extinguish fire.
