At 18:25 on Sunday, 10 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Small gear
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.
Accidental fire in electric fuse board which was out on arrival. All supplies to property have been isolated by crews and cutting away and damping down carried out. Gas and electricity board in attendance.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
RTC involving two cars, no persons trapped, crews had one hose reel jet ready if needed. Vehicles made safe.

Crews were assisted by our neighboring brigade Staffordshire and West Midlands Fire service, this incident involved a fire in a petrol pumping station crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus and on site fire extinguishers

At 18:29 on Wednesday, 6 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Marton.
6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Incident Command Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun, Minsterley, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Telford. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Open water supply
One industrial storage unit measuring approximately 85 metres x 26 metres. Fire involving biomass boiler which had spread to building. 14 breathing apparatus, 6 main jets, 4 hose reel jets and light portable pump from open water source used to extinguish fire. Assistance also received from Mid and West Wales Fire Service.
