At 08:56 on Thursday, 26 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported in Wellington.

7 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving commercial property with 1st and 2nd floor accommodation, fire on 1st floor. 6 breathing apparatus, 3 hose reel jets, 1 covering jet, PPV to clear smoke, 9m ladder to check external woodwork 1 person rescued by fire service personnel

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher

Fire involving electrical equipment extinguished using dry powder fire extinguishers by fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus. Crew also isolated gas and electricity supplies.

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Property fire involving single storey detached garage measuring 10m x 15m. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 covering jet to extinguish.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Small fire in kitchen, found to be out upon the arrival of Fire Service. Two adult casualties suffering slight smoke inhalation were given oxygen therapy by Fire Service personnel. Property is heavily smoke logged and being ventilated using a PPV fan.
