At 14:38 on Sunday, 26 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One motorhome alight in driveway. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish and thermal imaging camera to check temperatures. Crews currently damping down and have removed gas bottled and appliances from the motorhome.

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving single storey brick built building. Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and covering jet to extinguish. Aerial ladder platform also in use.
