At 10:42 on Friday, 4 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

Fire involving out house attached to house, crews used two hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus, one covering jet and a short extension ladder to extinguish.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and a utility company.

Fire involving electrical consumer unit in domestic property. Crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. All persons accounted for.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving hot oil on gas hob in kitchen area of outbuilding. Crews extinguished fire using 1 hosereel jet, 1 covering jet with 2 breathing apparatus in use. Casualty left in care of ambulance crews and being conveyed to hospital in land ambulance.
