At 19:02 on Thursday, 9 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Prees Heath .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear

Small fire in roof space of exterior toilet block, one hose reel jet, one covering jet, two breathing apparatus, short extension ladder and small gear in use

Fire in Hallway of property. Police and Fire Investigation also attended to investigate as fire was believed to be arson.

Fire in ground floor living room of a semi detached property, 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 1 covering jet in use. Crews ventilated property using positive pressure ventilation.

Fire involving kitchen of terraced property, 1 Person taken to hospital by Ambulance suffering from smoke inhalation. 2 other persons being given first aid by Ambulance.

• CO2 extinguisher

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving small deep fat fryer in ground floor kitchen of two storey domestic property. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 dry powder, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet, ventilation is now in progress. All occupiers were out of the property prior to arrival of Fire Service
