2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke issuing from building. From Fire Service investigation using a thermal imaging camera, the smoke had been caused by cooking fumes. Smoke ventilated from property.

Call to smell of smoke in property which proved to be a false alarm. Fire crews used thermal image camera to search property and found no heat source, smoke or fire.

This incident was a false alarm good intent, caused by excessive smoke from chimney. Crews carried out a thorough search using thermal imaging camera and gave advice to occupier.
