Crews assisted Police with a search of river. Nothing found, incident left with Police.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Specialist water rescue crews have been mobilised to search river following upturned canoe being found by a member of the public. Following a 5 mile inter-agency search of the river no casualty was located and crews have been withdrawn.

This incident involved reports of persons in difficulty in the water who has self extricated from the river prior to the arrival of the Fire Service. Incident was left with the Police.
