At 07:21 on Monday, 23 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Ellesmere.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a fire in an electrical box in the cellar. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hosereel jet, one covering jet, a thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation.
