At 23:15 on Sunday, 29 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving commercial waste measuring approximately 4 x 20 metres in field. Crews using drag rakes and fogging system from Incident Support Unit to extinguish fire.
