At 16:37 on Thursday, 28 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Two cars 100% destroyed by fire and two further cars damaged by radiated heat. Crews used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to extinguish fire
