Ashley Brown, a retained firefighter stationed at Bridgnorth will be fund-raising and raising awareness for Asthma UK, in memory of his son Cameron.
Cameron had a fatal Asthma attack aged two in February this year.
Ashley will be doing a series of walks and challenges throughout the year, starting off with the Bridgnorth Sponsored Walk on 26th May 2008. This is a 22 mile walk starting and finishing in Bridgnorth, with the route taking in the summit of Brown Clee hill. He will more

Crucial Crew events are not open to the public and are specifically aimed at school children in Shropshire.
These events are aimed at year six pupils, aged 10 and 11, who are at an age where they are becoming more independent and beginning to make responsible decisions. The Crucial Crew event consists of real life scenarios, featuring various agencies who give interactive presentations and offering advice on the best way to deal with certain safety situations.
