At 11:06 on Thursday, 3 November, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Knighton.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire located in first floor bedroom. 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets in use. Assistance from Mid & West Wales Fire Service. Fire investigation being carried out.

1 fire appliance including the Rescue Tender was mobilised from Bishops Castle and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Boar stuck in animal feeding machinery. The animal had self extricated no action required by fire crews

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involved approximately 50m by 50m of standing, 1 combine harvester and surrounding woodland. Crews have extinguished all seats of fire and used 2 extended hose reel jets. Crews remaining in attendance to damp down combine harvester

Reports of one van in collision with front of building. Structural engineer requested to attend, no fire service action required.

This incident was an oven tray which had caught fire at the bottom of the oven, this was out on arrival of crews. An appliance from mid and west Wales also assisted at this incident.
