1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Road traffic collision involving car in head on collision with motorbike. Fire crews assisted casualty with emergency care using trauma bag. Environmental pack was also used. One male casualty taken to hospital via Helimed.

At 06:47 on Wednesday, 13 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Bishops Castle.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small quantity of smoke involved in hopper at this premises. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera. A hazardous materials officer was also in attendance due to a product being unidentifiable in the hopper, this product was moved to a suitable container in clean air to be diluted and mixed with fine water spray.
