At 00:52 on Friday, 18 September, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Waters Upton.

7 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Hodnet, Shrewsbury, Telford, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving 1 derelict public house, fire now supressed and restricted to the confines of the building, Aerial Ladder Platform and 2 main jets in use extinguishing hot spots in roof , efforts being made to ventilate property.
