At 11:08 on Friday, 7 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Pulverbatch.

4 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Barn approx 20 x 6 mtrs containing hay involved in fire
