At 07:40 on Sunday, 16 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Telford.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

1 horse released from entrapment in fencing by Fire Service personnel using specialised animal rescue equipment.
