At 16:37 on Sunday, 5 November, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Nr Minsterely.

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Minsterley, Oswestry and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a bonfire
