At 22:15 on Tuesday, 25 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wellington.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving 2 vehicles. 1 person trapped by injuries was released from entrapment by Fire Service Personnel. One other casualty was released from entrapment prior to Fire Service arrival, both have been conveyed to hospital by Ambulance.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Spinal board

Car on its roof off the highway, crews made vehicle electrically safe and assisted ambulance personnel with casualty handling
