Fire involving store room containing cardboard and stationery. Crews have used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 1 main jet, positive pressure ventilation and thermal image camera whilst dealing with this incident.

Fire involving ground floor of 2 storey property approximately 10m x 30m. All persons and pets out of property prior to arrival of Fire Service. Four breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 main jet, thermal image camera and positive pressure ventilation fan in use.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Crews called to a HGV fire in a layby of the A5, this was a small fire involving exhaust system and mud guards caused by a defective turbo. 1 hose reel jet in use, 1 thermal imaging camera to monitor temperature.

House Fire

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Electric Saws/Cutters
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in chimney of 3 storey house which spread to roof space timbers. 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish and 1 covering jet on standby. Crews will be on scene some considerable time as hotspots located in roof space and joists. Akro prop being used to stabilise large beam. Snake eye camera, thermal imaging camera and cutting away equipment also in use.
