At 18:28 on Saturday, 11 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Minsterley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Axes/Hammers/Crowbars/Croppers
• Chimney rods
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

1 large oak tree trunk involved in fire. Crews attempting to gain access to cavities in tree. 2 hose reel jets, short extension ladder, axes and chimney rods in use.

At 17:43 on Saturday, 11 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Ford.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

3 covering jets, 3 hose reel jets, 6 breathing apparatus in use. 1 LPG tank being cooled. Aerial Ladder Platform also in use.
