At 21:18 on Tuesday, 20 January, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke Issuing in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke issuing, top floor room. Investigation took place using four breathing apparatus, thermal image camera, dry powder and 1 hose reel jet. Incident turned out to be a small fire involving a gramophone.
