At 17:12 on Thursday, 31 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involves 1 combine harvester fully involved in fire and 10 meters of stubble surrounding, also alight. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus', 2 hose reel jets and one thermal imaging camera.

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in commercial skip containing 12 tonnes of newspapers. extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus', 2 hose reel jets, thermal imaging camera and drag rakes.

This incident involved a diesel generator in the pump house approximately 6m x 4m, crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, the thermal imaging camera was also in use.

One vehicle involved in fire with engine compartment completely destroyed by fire. Crews have used two hosereel jets to extinguish whilst wearing breathing apparatus.

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

This incident is a large building fire which involved 80 ton of waste materials, crews are using 4 breathing apparatus and 2 main jets to extinguish the fire, the drone is also in use.
