At 16:57 on Sunday, 31 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire involving cab of HGV vehicle. Crews used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) and a utility company.

This incident involved a detached garage on fire which had spread to the rear of two residential properties.
