At 15:08 on Tuesday, 14 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Lydbury North.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Clun and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Small HGV carrying waste with a small fire located within the waste. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish and checked temperatures using a thermal imaging camera.

Small bonfire which had spread to a hedge. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots. Advice has been given to occupier

Property Fire Persons Reported

At 09:21 on Tuesday, 14 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Wolverhampton.
3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford Central. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
- Open water supply
- Portable pump
- Thermal imaging camera
Incident involving one electric vehicle, one shed and an office unit on fire. Fire has been extinguished using two hosreel jets, one main jet and one light portable pumping unit whilst crews were wearing breathing apparatus. Crews are continuing to damp down the affected areas and temperatures of the electric vehicle battery being monitored with a thermal imaging camera. Vehicle is being recovered by an electrical vehicle containment unit. All persons were accounted for and no casualties reported.

Small fire in 1st floor living accomodation. Surrounding damaged furniture and an amount of carpet removed from property.
