At 02:18 on Wednesday, 18 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Whitchurch.

6 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Prees, Tweedale, Wem and Whitchurch. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

RTC involving 1 Jack knifed empty petrol tanker with diesel leaking from the tankers own fuel tank.

At 09:00 on Saturday, 26 December, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in LUDLOW.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 HGV and 1 small saloon vehicle involved in RTC. No persons trapped. Crews attempting to stem diesel leak from HGV.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Road traffic collision involving one tanker and one saloon car. Crews using holmatro cutting gear. Assistance from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service. Casualty in care of Ambulance Service.
