Firefighters assisted paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service to provide first aid to the other passengers from the minibus at the scene. Station Manager from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, Mark Weaver said: “On arrival at the incident firefighters and paramedics were faced with a number of walking wounded and so the priority was to identify which casualties required hospital treatment and which could be treated at the scene.
