Alison Teece, SFRS Vulnerable Persons Officer, will be attending an event on Tuesday 24 June in conjunction with 'Falls Prevention Awareness' organised by Telford & Wrekin Council and Telford & Wrekin NHS Primary Care Trust.

Crucial Crew events are not open to the public and are specifically aimed at school children in Shropshire.

These events are aimed at year six pupils, aged 10 and 11, who are at an age where they are becoming more independent and beginning to make responsible decisions. The Crucial Crew event consists of real life scenarios, featuring various agencies who give interactive presentations and offering advice on the best way to deal with certain safety situations.

We are looking for people to join this team of firefighters, with excellent rates of pay, you could earn between £5,500 and £11,000 per year (dependant on number of call out’s)

Ashley Brown, a retained firefighter stationed at Bridgnorth will be fund-raising and raising awareness for Asthma UK, in memory of his son Cameron.

Cameron had a fatal Asthma attack aged two in February this year.
