At 10:10 on Monday, 25 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Shrewsbury.

6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Prees, Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Wellington and Wem. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and a utility company.

Fire involving first floor and roof space of a disused public house, all persons have been accounted for.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One derelict building has been involved in fire, crews have used two hosereel jets, one covering jet and the aerial ladder platform to extinguish.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Light Pumping Unit, the Rescue Tender, the Water Carrier and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

This incident involved a barn building of brick and timber construction approx 25m x 25m. Crews used 6 breathing apparatus, 4 main jets and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish. The Aerial Ladder attended to reinspect the property.
