At 01:51 on Monday, 2 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

8 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Incident involving one derelict building fully involved in fire, approximately measuring 30m x 20m. Two main jets and 2 breathing apparatus in use. Fire investigation has taken place

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ludlow and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving one saloon vehicle, no persons trapped.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

One quad bike and approximately 10 square metres of stubble alight, extinguished by Fire Service personnel using a fogging unit from a Fire Service 4x4 off-road vehicle and one hose reel jet from the main pump.

At 02:38 on Saturday, 12 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Persons Reported Fire in Telford.

5 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) , the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving domestic property, all persons accounted for. 4 properties affected, 3 x 9 M ladders, 6 breathing apparatus, 2 x 45mm jets. All services have been isolated. No casualties.
